President - PD

Vice-President/Quartermaster - CS

Treasurer - AB

Secretary - MG

Congratulations to the new Venturer Executive!

Amory Award Expedition Complete!

Congratulations to PD, TD, JRM and MG for completing their Amory Award Expedition!  It was a grueling 80+ km canoe camping expedition involving multiple long portages through hot sun, bugs, pouring rain, and lots and lots of mud! Awesome stuff guys! And all of it was done on your own!  Your advisors are incredibly proud of you and can't wait to see the pictures and read the logbook.

Amory Award Expedition

Venturers attempting this year's Amory Award expedition should be pleased to know that Quebec Council is rooting for us and looking forward to hearing about our trip.  We are one of the few companies in the province to take part in the award and the only one to do so in recent memory!  Awesome work so far Mini-Mees!  The departure date is just around the corner and we just can't wait for it come! :)

Planning Meeting

The June 14th meeting will mainly be a planning meeting for Aug-Dec of next year (and the Amory Award Expedition), so come prepared to 'sell' your ideas to the rest of the company. There will also be time set aside for those who wish to finish off some Activity Award requirements.

Mystery Meals

We will be doing 'Mystery Meals' for the June 3rd Activity Night

Tri-District News

The Mini-Mees brought home an 'A' pennant for the second year in a row. Woohoo!

St-Patrick's Day Parade

Watch the evening news for clips of our group marching in the parade.  Once again, some of our venturers were chosen to be the flag bearers at the head of the parade!  Way to go guys!  It starts with Scouts!

New Secretary

Congratulations to PD who is the new secretary for the Mini-Mees!

Games Night

There will be a Games Night with the Senior Scouts the week of March Break, so bring your cards and board games and we'll have a great evening.

BP Week Campfire / Leader Appreciation Ceremony

Outdoor Campfire: 6:45pm
Snack/Refreshments: 7:45pm
Leader Ceremony: 8:00pm

Full uniforms are expected and don't forget that we will be outdoors for the first half of the evening.

Hobo Stoves

We will be making Hobo Stoves and Buddy Burners (fuel source) for the February 1st Activity Night.  If we have enough time we'll try to make some decent mystery meals from 'unlabelled' cans.

Hobby Night

For part of the January 25th meeting, company members will be asked to showcase their hobbies and personal interests.

It will be set up somewhat like a job fair, with each venturer explaining their chosen pastime and getting the chance to demonstrate the tools and equipment needed for it, and/or recent completed projects.  Some lucky individuals may even discover a new activity to do that is both fun and rewarding.
